The monthly settlements have attracted a good deal of attention to-day, but à fair amount of transfers have nevertheless been arranged. Land Investments have been in strong request, and at 134 for cash, 141 for August, and 142 for September a big business has been done, the stock closing very firm. Punjoms have been dealt in at 33 and there are further buyers. Other quotations speak for themselves,
