11th April, 1889.At 10 a.m.

There is very little to report to-day.. Some small lots of Hongkong Fires have been sold at 360, and probably a few more shares could be placed at that rate. Docks deck. have dropped to 68 per cent. premium and are weak at that figure. There has been considerable, inquiry after A. S. Watson & 'Co.'s shares, and on the strength of a report that a sub-rlivision of the present shares had been decided on, the rate has risen to 105 per cent. premium. Panjoms have been sold at from 28 to 30 for cash in small quantities, and also at the latter rate for delivery on the 30th instant. China Sugars are rather firmer than when we last wrote, Whilst, on the other hand, Luzons are decidedly weaker, with sellers at 93- A fair amount of business in Geo. Fenwick & Co.'s scrip has been arranged at 30, and there are further buyers. Other quotations speak for themselves.
