Queen's Road Central, Hongkong, on FRIDAY, the 19th day of April instant, at 4.30 O'CLOCK IN THE AFTERNOON, when the subjoined Reso- lution, which was passed at the Extraordinary. General Meeting of the Company held on the 4th April instant, will be submitted for Con-. firmation as a Special Resolution.

RESOLUTION.

That the Capital of the Company be increased to the sum of $600,000 legally current in the Colony of Hongkong by the creation of

20,000 New Shares of $10 each. Subject to any direction to the contrary that may be given by the Meeling sanctioning the increase of Capital, all New Shares shall be offered to the Members registered on the day of the confirmation of the resolution in proportion to existing Shares held by them, and such offer shall be made by notice specifying the number of Shares to which the Member is entitled and limiting a time within which the offer if not accepted will be deemed to be declined, and after the expir- ation of such time or on the receipt of an "intimation from the Member to whom such notice is given that he declines to accept the Shares offered, such Shares shall be dealt with by the Directors in their discretion. Consular Invoices to accompany Cargo des tired to Points in the United States, should be sent to the Company's Officer, addressed to Mr. D. E. BROWN, District Freight Agent, Vancouver, B.C.

Freight will be received on board natii 4 P.M. on the 1st May.

All Parcels must be sent to our Office and should be marked to address in full :- and the same will be received by us until 5 r.. the day previous to sailing.
