The British steamship Devawongse reportsbat she left Bangkok on the zoth instant. Had light southerly winds and fine weather till within 200 miles of port; thence experienced heavy north- east gale and high sex.

The British steamship Diamants reports that she left Manila on the ad instant: - Had fine weather and smooth sea to 20 deg, north; thence to port had strong north-east winds and highsen. In lat. 7.5 north and long. 118.12 east, passed H.M.S. Rambler, steering south, owing to dis tance and base, could not distinguish signals.

The British steamship Holtan reports that she left Foochow on the 24th Instant, Amoy on the 25th, and Swatow on the 26th. During the passage to Amoy had light variable winds and overcast sky the first part. The latter part bad strong northerly breeze and heavy showers with
