The British steamship Arratoon Abcar reports that she left Calcutta on the 17th ultimo, Penang on the 24th, and Singapore on the 27th, Had fine weather throughout. The American steamship City of Sydney reports that she left San Francisco on the ultimo, and Yokohams on the 28th, From Yokohama to Van Dieman's Straits had strong west and north-west winds. From Van Dieman's Straits to Turnabout Island had variable winds with rain; thence to port had light north-east monsoon with foggy weather.
