The British steamship Glenshiel reports that she left New York on the 9th ultimo. "Had fine weather across the Atlantic Ocean, and arrived at Gibraltar on the 2and, and Fort Said on the 30th. Left Sues at noon on the 1st inst. Had light variable winds and calms across the Indian Ocean, and arrived at Singapore on the 1st Left for Hongkong next day at noon. Had light variable winds, and fine, weather to lat. 7 north. From there to Paracels had fresh north-north-east gales and heavy head "ca.with continuous heavy rain and hard squalls with much lightning, and barometer 29.70 steady; thence to port frests monsoon and mode- rating sea with fine weather and passing clouds; anchored outside Green Island at 8 p.m. on the 29th. In lat. 449 north and long, 106.48 east, spoke the ship Kilmory, of Glasgow, from Manila to New York, 23 days out, all well
