The German steamship Ningpo reports that she left. Shanghai on the 12th instant. Had fresh southerly wind to Talchow Island; thence to port had light north and north-east winds with fine weather.
The German steamship Apenrade reports that she left Kobe on the 8th instant. Had fine weather during the whole passage to Van Dieman's Straits, where she met with strong wind and high tremendous sea..
The American steamship City of Rio de Janeiro reports that she left San Francisco on The 19th ultimo at 4.22 p.m.; arrived at Yoko hama on the 7th instant at. am. Detained outsida g'hours by fog. Sailed from Yokohama on the roth at 5.09 a.m.; arrived at Hongkong on the 15th at 6.11 p.m.; passage 5 days, 14 hours and 44 minutes. Experienced light wind and smooth sex the entire passage.
