KEPORTS.

The British steamship 'Namkiang reports that she left Singapore on the zoth instant at 5,30 p.m., bound for Hongkong. Had fine weather with light southerly winds until in latitude of Paracel Islands; thence experienced strong north and north-east winds with heavy head sea, but clear weather throughout; when in the vicinity of the Islands had heavy easterly swell. Outside Gap Rock passed a gunboat atcering south, supposed to be British; arrived here last evening at 7.45 o'clock.

The Siamese bark Fortune repots that she

left Bangkok on the 1st instant. In the Gulf of Sian had fresh southerly wind. In the China Seni to Pulo Sapata south-west wind, mostly from. the north till latitude 12.30; caught a typhoon commencing from north-north-east, veering jound the west, to southwest; it blew fearfully and we had tremendous sea from all parta, On the 11th got fine weather; thence calm for 10 days, and occasionally a little north-north-east wind; thence to part north-east winds,
