THE SHARE MARKET.
5 o'clock.
There is very little of any special Interest to report to-day, business having continued unusually quit. Banks are a shade firmer, with buyers at 1573, but nothing of consequence has been done. Docks have dropped a point, and are now rather unsteady at 32 per cent. premium, The Pack Company's half-yearly report and Statement of Accounts will be found in anuber colunin, and it will be seen that, as anticipated, the Directors recommend a diyini of 3 per cent. for the half-year. After goisig carefully, through the Report and Accounts we shall probably have a few words to say regarding their leading Paturn, Steamboats continue.slowly on the lownward line, sellers at 2115 falling to find a mark for their shares. Some China Sugars have changed hands at 184, and there pre further sellers. Business has alsh been put through in Luzons at 55. at which rate shares are still obtainable. A few small sales of Punjoms at 10 have also been reported. Other quotations are unchanged.

The German steamship Glucksburg reports that she left Amoy on the 14th instant, and Swatow on the 15th. From Amoy to Swatow had light northerly winds and foggy, weather. From Swatow to port had light south-west mon
soon and clear weather.
The German steamship Peking reports that she left Shanghai on the sath instant. When leaving Shanghai had strong south-east wind and high sea, which continued the first 24 hours, The rest of the voyage had fine weather and variable south-westerly wind.
The British steamship Kutsang reports that she left Shanghai, vid Swalow on the 15th instant. From Shanghai to Swatow had strong to moderate south-easterly winds and heavy swell with clear weather. From Swatow to Hongkong had light to moderate westerly to. north-west winds and fine' weather throughout.
The British steamship Flintshire reports that she left Singapore on the 6th instant, and Hoi, how on the 15th. Had calm and fine weather all the way up to Torking Gulf; thence on Sun day last a gale commencing at west, and veering around to cast, where it abated.
