of Panay) steer E.NE. magnetic course fur St. Ana on the island of Guimeras and as the coast is bold can stand close in until Point Cabalic and Cape Bontolin, are in a line;

Cabalic steer straight up passing inile off Cape and 200 yards off Bondolin.

These instructions are given as on entering the Port of Iloilo, Capes Bondolin and Dapdap which are very prominent.heads (the latter being at Northern entrance to the harbour) are often mistaken by strangers when entering from the Sonth for Points Cabalic and Bondolin, thus causing them to steer their vessels on to the Oton Bank. Cabalic being so higher than the rest of the coast in looking from the Westward is difficult to distinguish, but from St. Ana or the South is casily recognised.
