Later authentic particulars regarding the attack on Myinoo are that the Myinmoo police post contained 25 prisoners, and that the dacoits made a determined attack on it at midnight of the 2nd May, rushing the gate and burning the post; the stacoirs were driven out and no prisoners escaped, two Punjabce policemen were killed and two were wounded, four Bunnan policemen were killed,

No news has been received of the occurrence al Kyouksai. Lieutenant Williamson with six men of the Mounted Infantry and Mr. O'Dowda the Assistant Superintendent of police, and eight Punjabis attackell a strong body of dacoits at Myotha while patrolling in a thick jungle, our losses bring: Lieutenant Williamson, Mr. O'Dowda and two men of the Munster Fusiliers killed, and two men of the Munsters wounded. The cause of this is said to be young officers committing an error of judgment in attacking too strong a force. The original fire at Kyouksai was purely accidental, the Herald's accounts are officially stated to be highly imaginary.
