The Spanish steamship Don Juan reports left Manila on the 24th instant. Had heavy sea throughout.

The British steamship C. T. Hook reports left Nagasaki on the 20th instant. From 21st to 24th had fine weather. On the 15th and 26th bad strong gale and high sea with much rain.

The Chinese steamship Yusg-ching reports left Swatow on the 24th instant. From Swatow to Chelang Point had fresh strong E.N.E. winds and dull cloudy weather with passing showers and a fresh sea; thence to Bias Bay had fresh strong gale with very beavy squalls of wind and rain and a very heavy' sea. An- chored at 9.45 a.m. Weighed anchor at 930 a.m. on the 26th. Had fresh gale and fresh variable winds with heavy rain to port.

Laid off Cape of Good Hope until 5.30 p.m. barometer rising, and proceeded for Hong- kong., Passed Breaker Point at 8.30 p.m., baro- very heavy sea, ship rolling heavily. At 5 a.m. meter 29.52. At midnight had E.S.E. wind and on the 26th instant barometer 29.40, and heavy squalis from S.S.E. Stood out to S.E. until 8am. sighted Pedro Blanco, barometer rising set course for Hongkong.
