4 o'clock p.m. Business still continues fairly brisk, in the Share Market. Banks-show increased

firmaess, sales having been effected at 206 and 207 per cent. premium for cash;. 209 for the end of the month, and 210 and 211 for the end of August. China Traders' are wanted at the increased rate of 2650, holders standing out for 2700 per share. "Chinese Insurances have advanced to 223 without inducing holders to part. Docks have been done at 62 per cent, premium for the end of the month and 64 for the end of August, closing with cash buyers

at 61.

Sales of China Sugars have Loon put through at 210 cash, and 214 and 215 for the end of August, Luzons are still in demand at 78 cash, and several sales at 80 for the end of the month have been booked. Nothing in other stocks requires special notice.
