4.0'clock p.m. Business is still rather slack in the Share Market. Banks are much firmer, sales for cash having been put through at 186 per cent. premium, and there are still buyers nt that rate. We heard of a sale of North China Insurance stock at quotation. Chi- nese Insurances have been negociated at the decreased rate of $210 per share, sellors ruling the market when our report loft.
China Fires have slightly improved their position and have changed hands at $300 per share. Other stocks remain as per annexed list.
