CLEARANCES AT THE HARBOUR OFFICE.

Noon. Share business is generally quiet this morning, but doubtless things will get brisker during the course of the afternoon.. The only actual sales reported have been in the scrips of the China and Luzon Sugar

Chinas Compin, Dutch steamer, for Amoy. Refining Companies répectively. have changed hands for cash at 184, and Douglas, British steamer, for Swatow, &c.

Hwai-yuen, Chinese steamer, for Shanghai. a fair number of shares might still beghan, British steamer, for Shanghai placed at that figure... A few Luzons have Feilung, British steamer, for Bangkok been sold at 82 for cash, the stock leaving Diamante, British steamer, for Amay, &c. off rather weak, with sellers at the quota-. tion. Nothing else of the slightest impor- tance has come under, our notice.

4 o'clock.p.m.

Since noon China Sugars have im proved their position, offers to buy at 8187 per share, for cash, not enticing holders to come to terms Luzons are weaker with sellers at 880 per share. Other stocks remain as per annexed list.
