4 o'clock p.m. Share business continues brisk,- espa.. cially in Banks and Sugars. Since we last wrote Bank scrip has been made the medium of rather extensive investments at Increased rates. For cash at 184 and afterwards at 185 per cent. premium a considerable number of shares changed hands, and on time at 187 for the end of the month and 190 for June 30th, a foJORGE business has been arranged. Union In surance stock is weaker to-day, with Sellers at 650. China Fires have also depreciated slightly, the quotation now standing at 348, with sellers at that ralo. Some minor transactions in Steamboats have been reported at 40 per share pre mium. Several hundred shares of the China Sugar Refining Co. have changed owners at 180, the stock now standlog steady at that quotation, although, it may be noted, there are sellers at 181.. Luzons have again improved their position, bales for cash at so, and a fair, time business at 8 for the end of June being. the latest transaellons reported. Other stocks need not be specially referred to,
