THIS DAY.

Noon. Business, in the Share Market is rather dull this morning, the transactions being few and unimportant. Banks are offering at 188 per cent. premium for cash.. China Traders' are a trifle weaker with sellers at $2575 per share. Hongkong Fires have been negociated at 81315 and left off with China Fires and sellers at that rate. Steamboat shares have slightly improved their position, and are wanted at, quo- tation. China Sugars are weaker and have changed hands at $185 per share, more shares being on offer at the same. figure. "Luzons have again dropped, offers to sell at $83 failing to attract buyers. Nothing in other stocks requires special

mention,
