The British steamship Diamante- reports left Manila on the 26th instant. Had strong S.E. breeze and high following sea until Lemma Head; thence to port had moderate NE breeze and fine weather. -NAN ME

Then a heavy blinding squall came on; and after clearing of nothing could be seen of the cance; kept dodging away till 7 p.m. but failed to get another sight of them. Thence till arrival had strong breezes from the S.E. and East with heavy southerly swell and continued heavy rain, which lasted till within four hours of arrival!
