PUBLIC CIRCULTING LIBRARY. HAVING. long felt the need of a PUBLICIRCULATING LIBRARY in Hongkong, I have determined, should a suffici number Volunteer to Subscribe to it, to form a Library on the same basis as Circung Libraries are formed in England, and from my Experience in such matters in gland, I feel certain that I can form and. conduct a Library satisfactorily to all. My perience in the East Teaches me that the principal demand would be for LIGHT LERATURE, and the Ordinary 3-Volume English Novels would therefore preponderant the same time Works of any interest on Science, Biography and Travel would find te place on the Library Shelves.

THE SUBSCRIPTION WOULD B$15 PER ANNUM FOR A SINGLE SET O1OOKS.

Willing Subscribers will kindly send irer Names as early as possible in order that some estimate might be formed of the bable success of the Scheme:
