Noon. There is very little of importance to report this morning from the Share

Market,

Banks remain very quiet with: sellers at 168 per cent, premium. A sale

of Union Insurance stock at 1,800-an advance of 50 on previous quotation—. was booked early in the day; and business has been done in, Hotels at 12 per share, at which rate the scrip is in good demand.. Docks are slightly weaker, sellers offering to come to terms at 54 per cent. premuim for cash. A few more Can- ton Insurances have changed hands at 145 ; but a fair number of shares might still be obtained at that quotation. No other - movements require special reference.
