I be lieve he will shake the dust of Macau from his feet in December. What a blessing for Macao! It is also reported that a certain Cap taia Rosa is coming out from the Empress of the Atlantic as Governor of Macao and Minister Plenipotentiary to the Flowery Land. Whether it be the rising spirit of repub licanism, or merely the interests of truth and just ice, that prompt the press of the capital to pursue such a decided atrain of independent and fearless criticism, I am unable to say, but the fact remains that the eccentric diplomacy of the Governor of Maçao has been most mercilessly exposed.
