Commercial.
THIS DAY.
Noon. Not a single transaction in the Share "Market has come to our notice this morn- ing. Docks are very firm and have a de- cidedly upward tendency, offers to buy at
·56 premiùm, for cash, not having induced hoklers to come to terms. Nothing else requires special comment.
4 o'clock p.m. A few time transactions in Banks and Docks are the only events which we need specially refer to. At 148 for the 31st De- cember a fair amount of speculation in Banks has taken place; and at 37 for the end of the present month several small lots of the Dock Company's scrip have changed hands. All other particulars will be ob- tained from annexed list of quotations.
