It is proposed that a CORPS of VOLUNTEER ARTILLERY should be formed to be commanded by an Officer of the Royal Artillery whose Ser- vices will, by permission of His Excellency the MAJOR GENERAL COMMANDING, be available for this purpose in the event of a sufficient núm ber of Names being enrolled.
Information respecting the assistance which Government is prepared to offer with the view of encouraging the formation of a NEW CORPS will be obtained on Application to the ACTING COLONIAL SECRETARY.
