Commercial.
THIS DAY, Four P.. Share business has been of the most nominal character, not a single noteworthy transaction having been reported since we Jast wrote. Banks have not been brought on the Fapit at all; and although a few Docks are an offer at 50 per cent. pre- mium for the end of the month, there is ap- parently very little inclination amongst speculators to touch the stock at present, so that offers to sell pass unheeded.
A small sale of Sugars has come under our observation at 175 for July 31st, but the quotation for cash may be fairly stated as 174. Luzons are steatly át 129. The Ice Company's shares remain in good demand at 134. Hongkong and China Fires-re- main nominally at annexed rates, which are of course dependent on the Shanghal
Market.
