The British steamship Fooksang reports left Shanghai on the 23rd instant. Had strongS.W. winds to Tung-ying; thence to port light Easterly winds.
The British steamship Jiravur reports left | Keelung on the 24th instant. Had light S.W. winds throughout. In Keelung the barks Helens, A. Newton, and, Solider.
The British steamship Solvay reports from Newchwang to Chefoo and from Chefoo to Saddle Island had light variable winds. From Saddle
Island so Turnabout heavy S.S.W. winds and
high sea; thence to port light Southerly winds.
The British steamship Ping-on reports left Pakhoi on the 23rd instant at 5 a.m., Haihow on the 25th at 3 a.m., and Macao on the 26th at p.m.; arrived in Hongkong at 9.30 p.m. same day. From Pakhoi to Hoihow had strong South- erly winds with squally weather. From Heihow to Macao and Hongkong light East and S.E. winds with clear weather.
