A ROW occurred last night among some coolies in First Street, near the Civil Hospital, one man dying soon afterwards from the effects of kicks he received in the abdominal region. The body was sent to the Civil Hospital, and an inquest was to be held this afternoon. Two coolies were charged at the Police Court this morning with having with another not in custody, caused the death of the man. Inspector Thomson, in charge of the case, applied for a remand as an inquest was to be helt. The case was accordingly re- manded till the 22nd instant. We hear the man not in custody is the one who actually kicked the deceased to death.
