LETTER BOXES.

Many boxes of letters are received at the Post Office not sealed, that is tosay, the box is fastened with sealing wax, but there is no impression of a scal.

The attention of boxholders is called to the necessity of carefully sealing such boxes with some recognisable seal, and of sending a chit- book or receipt with them. The omission of the latter precaution leaves a doubt as to whether the contents of the box ever reached the Post Office: the omission of the forner, as to whether part of them weight not have been abstracted for [the sake of the Postage stamps.

Mr. MOORE begs to recommend his GOGO SHAMPOO WASH

to the public as unrivalled by any prepara tion ever produced. for promoting the growth of the hair. The basis of this compound is made of soap root; the natives of the Philip pine Islands never use anything else for washing their hair; they are never found bald, and it is quite common to see the females with hair fron 3 to 6 feet long. By constantly using this shampoo Wash as directed, you will NEVER BE BALD,
