Commercial.
THIS DAY, FOUR P.M. A strong disposition to lay is at present the most noticeable feature in share busi- ness. A substantial advance inconsequence of important transactions has to be notent in Docks, and there appears to be every chance of this stock still further improving its market status in the course of a day or two. A large number of shares have been sold at 5 per cent. premium for cash; and at 55, and afterwards at 56, for March 31st, very extensive transactions have been bunkerl. The stock remains
very firm with cash buyers, at 54; but there are no sellers at the price, al- though a few small lots might be obtained
