FOREWORD TO 1973 EDITION

This edition is revised up to and including 1st July, 1973.

The biographical Section (Part III) has not been included in this edition. This part will be revised and printed in the next edition.

Except where otherwise indicated, the salaries and salary scales are shown in dollars a month.

As a result of an 8% pay increase for officers paid on the Master Pay Scale and the Disciplined (Rank & File) Scales with effect from 1st April 1973, as an- nounced in Establishment Circular No. 63/73, all salaries and salary scales shown in this Staff List, which referred to the old salary scales, should be converted to the new scales on a point-to-point basis. A conversion table is included at page iv for easy reference.

In addition, officers on the Superscale have been given a pay increase at a flat rate of $500 per month as a result of the recent salary adjustment. All salaries on the Superscale shown in this Staff List, which referred to the salaries before the pay increase, should be adjusted accordingly.
