GENERAL ESTABLISHMENT AND

DEPARTMENTAL LISTS

The Departmental Lists contain the names of all male officers whose initial salaries are $1,263 a month (or corresponding salary point for women) or more. The names of officers of the Personal Secretary Grade, Confidential Assistant Grade, Interpreter/Translator Grade and Storekeeping Grade are to be found in the General Establishment Lists, with the exception of the General Clerical Service and Typist Grade List which is published separately. The biographies of senior officers other than temporary officers are to be found in Part III.

The abbreviations employed in compiling these lists are explained on the front pages of Part III.

The Cantonese qualification of officers already shown in the Bio- graphical Section (Part III) are not repeated in the Department Lists in Parts I and II. For officers of the Executive Grade the qualification is given in the general list of Executive Officers in Part I.
