From time to time, overseas visitors interested in welfare services are taken on tours of the various centres and institu- tions run by the department. One such visitor during the year was Her Royal Highness Princess Alexandra. She shown here greeting one of the staff of a nursery in the depart- meni's Tsuen Wan Community Coutre which is named after her.

The department also plays a major role in the provision of recreation for people of all ages to enjoy. In the summer mouths. youth activities such as shown here are conducied on & large scale through its youth and community centres.
