REPORT ON THE PUI LIC MORTUARY, KOWLOON.

During the first 4 months of the year Dr. W. B. A. Moore was in charge of the Mortuary.

The total number of post-mortems mide was 1,156, an increase of 354 over last year. The Typhoon of September was re ponsible for 214 of the total cases—namely 203 cases of Drowning and 11 cases of Multiple Injuries.

The number of cases of Plague, Smal] Pox and Malaria all show a considerable increase over last year.

In 114 out of the 119 cases of Bubonic Plague the site of the Bubo was recorded as follows:
