CLASS VI.

There was a house where there were a great many mice. So the master of the house bought a cat and she was so clever that she caught and killed a great many of them. At last the mice met together to see what had better be done. After a great deal of talking a young mouse said "I have thought of a very good plan. Let us tie a bell round pussy's neck, and then we shall always be told of her approach by its ringing."
