SIR, I have the honour to forward to you herewith the Retura of Revenue, for the Supreme Court for 1896.

2. The Return shews an excess of $2,429.64, over and above the Estimated Revenue. Much as I should have been glad to see the Revenue exceed that for 1895, estates administered to by the Official* Administrator were less in value last year than the year before.

3. The Return does not of course include Probate Duty which appears in the Return of the Collector of Stamp Revenue.
