The Council met pursuant to adjournment.

The Minutes of the last Meeting held on the 20th instant, were read and confirmed.

BILL ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE TO MAKE PROVISION WITH REGARD TO CERTAIN HOUSES CLOSED DURING THE PREVALENCE OF THE BUBONIC PLAGUE AND TO MAKE FURTHER AND BETTER PROVISION FOR THE HEALTH OF THE COLONY."-The Attorney General moved the second reading of the Bill and addressed the Council.

The Director of Public Works seconded and addressed the Council.

Dr. Ho Kar addressed the Council.

Question-put and agreed to.

Bill read a second time.

Council in Committee on the Bill.

ADJOURNMENT.-His Excellency the Governor adjourned the Meeting till Monday, the 24th instant, at 3 P.M.
