DESPATCH RESPECTING SUNDAY CARGO-WORKING ORDINANCE.
Laid before the Legislative Council by Command of His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government,
on the 17th August, 1891.

I have the honour to inform you that Her Majesty will not be advised to exercise her power of disallowance with respect to the Ordinance, No. 6 of 1891, of the Legislature of Hongkong entitled An Ordinance to restrict the Loading and Unloading of Cargo on Sunday in the waters of the Colony, a transcript of which accompanied your despatch No. 157 of the 19th of May last.
I desire to express to you the satisfaction with which I have learned that this Ordinance has been passed.
