FRENCH MAIL STEAMERS.-His Excellency the Governor informed the Council that intimation had been received from Her Majesty's Government to the effect that the Government had given notice to the French Government to determine the Postal Convention with France of 24th September, 1856, at the expiration of one year from the 30th April last.
