The Minutes of the last Meeting, held on the 23rd September last, were read and confirmed.

SUPPLEMENTARY APPROPRIATION BILL, 1886.-The Colonial Secretary moved the first reading of

The Treasurer seconded.

Question--put and passed.

Bill read a first time.

The Colonial Secretary gave notice that, at the next meeting of Council, he would move the nd reading of the Bill.

APPROPRIATION BILL FOR 1888.-The Colonial Secretary moved the first reading of this Bill.
