Preliminary plans and budgetary estimates for electrical installations and equipment requirements were also prepared. All Mercury House installations and equipment have been considered for removal to the new site. A phased scheme for the move of Radio Hong Kong from Mercury House to the new Broad- casting House on completion of the structural alterations has been drawn up. Detailed planning of the project is continuing. It is hoped that the change-over will be completed by December 1964.
