EXCHANGE RATES

When dollars are quoted in the 1971-72 Reports, they are, unless otherwise stated, Hong Kong dollars. At the 31st March 1972, the official rate for conversion to pounds sterling was HK$14.55 =£1 (HK$I=approx. 7p). The official rate for conversion to U.S. dollars was HK$5.58=US$1.
