92. Particulars of the establishment approved for the financial year 1963-64 are given in Appendix B at the end of this Chapter.

93. The senior posts in the department are filled by Administrative Officers assisted by Executive and Resettlement Officers; the latter posts are filled by promotion from within the Department. During the year the following changes in senior staff took place:

In April 1962, Mr. Li Po-fai, Assistant Resettlement Officer, was appointed to act as Resettlement Officer, Cottage Areas.

In August 1962, Mr. No Shun-keung, Senior Executive Officer, Class II, was appointed Secretary vice Mr. LEE Ping-cheong on pre-retirement leave.

In October 1962, Mr. Adolf Hsu Hsung, Executive Officer, Class II, was transferred to the Colonial Secretariat.

In October 1962, Mr. Yung Joe-yee, Assistant Resettlement Officer, was appointed to act as Resettlement Officer, Operations.

In November 1962, Mr. E. P. Ho, Administrative Officer, was seconded to this department for special duties and was transferred back to the Colonial Secretariat in January 1963.

In December 1962, Mr. G. BARNES, Administrative Officer, was ap- pointed Administrative Officer, Estates and Areas vice Mr. H. M. A. BRISTOW.

In January 1963, Mr. C. MCGUGAN, Executive Officer, Class II, was transferred to the Education Department.

In January 1963, Mr. Jackie LAU, Assistant Resettlement Officer, was appointed to act as Resettlement Officer, Estates (Western).

In January 1963, Mr. J. W. HAYES, Administrative Officer, was appointed Administrative Officer, Estates and Areas vice Mr. G. Barnes. In March 1963, Mr. No Shun-keung, Senior Executive Officer, Class II, was appointed Senior Executive Officer (Accounts) vice Mr. K. S. Hardy. In March 1963, Mr. Colin WONG, Executive Officer, Class I was appointed Secretary vice Mr. NG Shun-keung.

In March 1963, Mr. Paul K. C. Tsui, M.B.E., Administrative Officer, Staff Grade C, was appointed Assistant Commissioner for Resettlement vice Mr. A. T. R. JACKSON.

94. The departmental Sports Association which was registered as a society in February 1958 and later restyled as the Resettlement Depart- ment Sports and Welfare Association in September 1961, has now a membership of 481.

95. The Association secured a Club House from Government at a rental of $1.00 per month at Chuk Yuen Cottage Resettlement Area, Kowloon in October, 1961. The Club House was damaged by Typhoon Wanda in September last year but soon re-opened after repairs.
