The upper photograph shows the site for the Li Cheng Uk Estate as it was in June, 1955 after clearance had been completed and one block had been constructed.
The lower photograph, taken in March, 1956, shows six completed seven-storey blocks and three more under construction. (The ancient tomb can be seen as a small mound on the left hand side of the large open space.)
