Registrar General Annual Report 華民政務司 註冊總署 年報 All

Land Office memorials as against 94,000 for the 27th Edition published in 1961 and 70,000 for the 26th Edition published in 1956, though on this occasion the proportion of memorials relating to flats and therefore not affecting the Index was much higher. In addition, a great many other Land Office records had to be examined and many streets and lanes inspected on the ground. The Index, which is based on data supplied by the Rating and Valuation Department and information contained in the Land Office records up to and including 30th June 1967, is published in two volumes, Volume I for the Island of Hong Kong and Volume II for Kowloon and New Kowloon. The price is $80 per volume. Unlike the previous editions, which consisted of bound volumes, the 28th Edition was published in loose-leaf form, thus affording a convenient means of making successive additions and alterations, particulars of which are contained in noters-up issued by the Land Office at six-monthly intervals. Two noters-up, i.e. Noter-up No. 1 for the period from 1st July to 31st December 1967 and Noter-up No. 2 for the period from 1st January to 30th June 1968, were published in August 1968 and February 1969 respectively. Each noter-up consists of two parts, one for Volume I and the other for Volume II of the Index. The price is $3.50 per part.
