106. The year's revenue amounted to $19,530, $4,412 more than in the previous year. This increase was due mainly to the larger number of registrations effected during the year.

OFFICIAL RECEIVER IN BANKRUPTCY
AND COMPANIES WINDING UP
107. The Bankruptcy Ordinance and the Rules made thereunder follow with some variations the English Bankruptcy legislation. The law relating to the winding up of companies by the Court is contained in the Companies Ordinance and the Companies (Winding-up) Rules made thereunder, which are based respectively on the Companies Act 1929, formerly in force in Great Britain, and the Winding-up Rules thereunder.
108. Thirty-eight bankruptcy petitions were presented during the year, a post-war record and twenty-three more than in 1964-65, so that with one petition pending from 1964-65 there were, in all, thirty-nine petitions before the Court. Twenty-four Receiving Orders and three Administration Orders were made, eight petitions were withdrawn, one petition was adjourned sine die and later superseded by a fresh petition, leaving two petitions pending at 31st March 1966. Adjudication Orders were made in twenty-one cases and the Official Receiver was appointed Trustee in twenty of these. In the remaining case, for the first time since 5th September 1959, a Trustee other than the Official Receiver was appointed. The Official Receiver was also appointed Trustee in two other cases, once following upon an Administration Order and in the other case by the Creditors, although the Adjudication Order was not made until after the close of the year.
