Eleven money-lenders licences were issued under the Money- Lenders Ordinance (Cap. 163). This was four more than in 1958/59. The fee for such a licence is $500 per annum.
Deposits by Fire, Marine and Life Insurance Companies
30. The deposits made by Insurance Companies with the Registrar of Companies under the Fire and Marine Insurance Companies Deposit Ordinance (Cap. 34), and those made under the Life Insurance Com- panies Ordinance (Cap. 36), are shown in Tables X and XI respectively.
Chinese Partnerships Ordinance (Cap. 31)
31. One Chinese Partnership was registered during the year. All previous registrations were effected before 1935. The number of partner- ships on the register is now twenty two.
Limited Partnerships Ordinance (Cap. 37)
32. No Limited Partnerships were registered during the year. Only five Limited Partnerships have so far been registered under this Ordinance.
Registered Trustees Incorporation Ordinance, 1958
33. Under this Ordinance the duly appointed trustees (not being less than three nor more than seven) of any body of persons as defined in the Ordinance may apply for incorporation, and the Governor may, if he considers such incorporation expedient, grant a certificate of incor- poration, whereupon the trustees and their successors in office become
