During the decade, 102,217 instruments were registered in the Land Office requiring nearly 100 yards of shelving for the bound volumes of Memorials and 39,470 marriages, 2,642 companies, 11,077 new Trade Marks, 354 patents, 806,426 births, and 190,668 deaths were registered in the other Registries.
