divided into two parts, Part I containing the names of persons authorized to audit accounts kept in English, Part II the names of persons authorized to audit accounts kept in Chinese. An Auditor may be included in both parts of the List. The Authorized List is published annually in the Government Gazette, and all subsequent admissions to and removals from the List are also published from time to time in the Gazette. The last annual list was published in G.N. No. 1686 of 28th December, 1956.

Admissions.
During 1956/57 the Board inquired into and approved 13 applications for admission to Part I, and 5 applications for admission to Part II, of the Authorized List.
Miscellaneous.
30. An appeal from the decision of the Board lies to the Full Court, and upon the hearing of such appeal the Court may affirm, reverse or vary the order or direction appealed against.
The two appeals made to the Supreme Court against decisions of the Board denying the appellants admission to Part I of the Authorized List which were pending at the end of last year have now been withdrawn,
