21. Under Section 103 of the Companies Ordinance, 6 Licences to keep local or branch share registers were granted during the year.

Prosecutions for offences under the Companies Ordinance.

22. There were 4 prosecutions during the year, all result- ing in convictions. The fines imposed totalled $2,750.

Money-Lenders.

23. 20 Money-Lenders Licences were issued under the Money-Lenders Ordinance (Capter 163).

Chinese Partnerships Ordinance (Chapter 31).

24. There have been no partnerships registered under the Chinese Partnerships Ordinance since the war. Only 21 Chinese Partnerships have ever been registered, the last registration being in 1934.

Limited Partnerships Ordinance (Chapter 37).

25. There have been two Limited Partnerships registered since the war, one in 1946 and one in 1948. Prior to these, there were only two registrations, one in 1913 and one in 1919.
