Deposits by Fire, Marine and Life Insurance Companies.

24. As at 31st March, 1953, the total amount of deposits made by Insurance Companies with the Registrar of Companies under the Fire and Marine Insurance Companies Deposit Ordinance (Cap. 34) was $7,204,357.90, the total of deposits under the Life Insurance Companies Ordinance (Cap. 36) being $1,976,916.42. Tables XII and XIII respectively give parti- culars of the deposits under these Ordinances.
