COMPANIES REGISTRY.

18. 186 new companies were incorporated here and 22 foreign corporations complied with Part XI of the Companies Ordinance 1932 during the period. On the 31st March 1951 the total of local companies registered was 2,373 and the total of foreign corporations was 435,

FEES.

19. The total amount of fees collected during the period was $81,027.87.

DEPOSITS.

20. The total amount deposited by Insurance Companies under the Fire & Marine Insurance Companies Deposit Ordinance 1917 as at the 31st March, 1951 was $7,234,357.90. On the same date the total amount deposited under the Life Insurance Companies Ordinance 1907 was $2,006,541.42.
